About this meditation
Our
great teacher Lord Buddha encourage lay house hold people for get Anagami
state then born in pure land great heavens (Suddawasa Brakama Loka).
Also Buddha said it is good born in six heavens than born in human world.
Gods have powerful mind with extraordinary powers for think wisely &
understand noble facts. Because they stay with happy & luxury life. So
we know five noble treasures help to born in any heaven : endowed
with faith, virtues, learning, donations and wisdom. Now a days some
Buddhist people have wrong idea that born in the heaven will result to get
darking mind towards Dharma, gods can't do merits, gods can't get
enlighten, etc... But if you read Vimana Watthu, Therea Apadana, Therii
Apadana & Jataka ( past lives stories of Buddha, gods, goddess, monks
& nuns), then you can understand that gods can do merit & also
they can enlighten easily than humans. Also Buddha said in Anguttara
Nikaya that person who recollect wisely about five masses of clinging : Rupa,
Vedhana, Sghangha, Sankkara & Vinghagha as unsteady, as sick, as
pain & as not self, then if he not get enlighten in this life then he
born in heaven after die then surely become enlighten there. Because he
can ask Dharma talks from enlighten gods, also still little time pass in heavens
after Buddha's passing away. Work hard for gain merits as this is your
final human body which has many sicknesses. Meditation of gods help to
recollect about gods in every day then suggest your mind that five
noble treasures help to born in heaven so you also have those five noble
treasures therefore you also can born in heaven. Before do this meditation
you need some knowledge about six heavens & gods. This meditation also
use same techniques as meditation of Lord Buddha. Sir Anata Pinditha
adherent was born in heaven of happy who give alms much to Lord Buddha
& Sangha also achieved
state of steam entry ( Sovan).
Sir Esi Daththa & Sir Purana adherents was born in same heaven cause
they achieved state of once-retuning to lust worlds ( Sakudhagami). Madam
Visaka the female adherents born in heaven
of likeness to creations cause she achieved state of steam entry. Servant
Rajumala the female
adherents born in heaven
of thirty-three kingdoms cause she achieved state of steam entry. Sir
Vesalika Ugga, Sir Chitha & Madam Nanda Mata born in five pure lands
cause they achieved state of non-returning to lust world ( Anagami). Also
other uncountable amount of Buddhist adherents are born in all heavens
cause they did merit activities such as offering flowers to Buddha from
devoted mind.
Merit incomes of this meditation : Surely born in heavens; Practice five
noble treasures in this life; Gods & goddess are help to person do
this meditation; Your mind become same as god's mind; Understand important
of virtue life.
Meditation Of Gods
- There
have gods in heaven of four region, heaven of thirty-three kingdoms,
heaven of Yama, heaven of happy, heaven of likeness to creations, heaven
of all lust treasures & beyond these heavens there have long life
timed great heavens.
- Gods
& goddess rebirth in these heavens cause they had steady devotion to
Buddha, Dharma & Sangha. So I also have same amount of devotion to
Buddha, Dharma & Sangha. Hence I also surely reborn in heaven what I
like.
- Gods
& goddess rebirth in these heavens cause they practice five precepts
& higher precepts, So I also have same amount of precepts. Hence I
also surely reborn in heaven what I like.
- Gods
& goddess rebirth in these heavens cause they learning, discussing
& remembering Dharma. So I also have same amount of learning,
discussing & remembering Dharma. Hence I also surely reborn in
heaven what I like.
- Gods
& goddess rebirth in these heavens cause they practice donate alms
as they can. So I also have same amount of donations. Hence I also
surely reborn in heaven what I like.
- Gods
& goddess rebirth in these heavens cause they develop wisdom by
meditation & wisely thinking. So I also have same amount of
practicing wisdom. Hence I also surely reborn in heaven what I like.
