Kaaraama Sutra

Angutthara Nikaya contains collaborations of important sutras for every day use. Kaarama sutra is very popular sutra among mentors in social science and philosophy. It tells us how we accept new idea or concept as truth. Actually it not tell us to refuse related idea. It tells don't accept any things in firsthand, how we analyze problem and absorb solutions. So it gives ten ways which are amend to information gathering. So below section we will think how we cope with this sutra and how we can accept or analyze new idea with Dharma.

Ten Path Of Information Gathering

Accepting or Refusing help to loss or gain data. Like scientists get new ideas after certain experiments or normal person gain new precept. So below ten paths give us new ideas. Probably new ideas come from one or two paths. Like someone says eating meat is not good for health. You no need to accept or refuse to this idea. You can find out which paths that idea came. Then you can compare it with other paths. Firstly we will look what are ten paths.

Ten Paths for Freedom !

1. Teachings : Means new idea come from teachers to students as lessons

2. Generations : Ideas can come from one elder generation to child generations

3. History : Ideas in history books as literally reports or came from mouth by mouth

4. Books : Ideas in religious books, root books which are can be changed with authors

5. Ruler : Peoples tend to accept ideas cause of political leaders or rulers

6. Respect : Some people accepts ideas cause of giver is respected person in society

7. Logic : Some facts can be prove as logical analyses, but really those are false

8. Principles : Ideas came from root principle, which also can be change with time

9. Features : People tend to accept some thing cause of it's outstanding features

10. Self-View : People simply accept ideas which they like or simple to use

Three Filters

Lord Buddha tells us if someone need to accept new idea he need to put new idea into three filters. First one is social filter which verify new idea accept or authorized in society. Second filter is your religion. That says new idea is right according to your religion. Final filter is your mind or it is accept in your white side of mind or not belongs to sins.

Dharma Mirror

Another way to accept new ideas is predetermine it's output. If something gives out results with pains those things not good to do. If some things gives happy out results we need to do those things. This concept was called as Dharma Mirror by Lord Buddha.

Determine People

Lord Buddha said don't determine someone cause of their works or look like. Only people can be determined by Buddha or another Buddha. Person means collections of past Karma. So all Karma can be analyzed only by Lord Buddha from his power of Buddhahood. Therefore if someone try to determine person by using any science or way he will collect sins. Buddha said anyone not same, low or high with other one.

Determine Dharma

Lord Buddha said Dharma change with future cause of Buddhism divided into different sectors. So if you need to identify what are told by Buddha or not, he can use this method : If some sutra or sentences tells destroy of lust, angry and ignorance it is true Dharma; If some sutra or sentences tells develop in opposite side of lust, angry and ignorance (developing stickless, kind and wisdom) it is true dharma. if there haven't this two conditions it is not true Dharma. Also Buddha said Dharma will destroy or change in future cause of born of example to Dharma .
